BLACK BOY REVIEW

Strained rays of light
piercing into the bars of caged emotions
setting loose the fire of concealed desires. Desires stiff in solitude,

Dry thirsty emotions, gasping, longing,
flames from our soul
binding us together in passionate wishes,

Light from the cloud of truth
liberates our shackled passions, guiding our emotions
to the cathedral of Romance,

I must voice:
no longer are we strangers
chained in the shackles of darkness
staggering for another’s soul-love.
