Homecoming: A Stage Play in Nsukka

 ‘Homecoming,’ will be staged by The Maestro Theatre, in collaboration with The Narrative Centre, at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, sometime in May, 2021.   

‘Homecoming’ tells the story of Nwakibe, a retired head teacher and catechist, who embarks on a mission to find his missing son.   Written in 2019 and unpublished, the play will enjoy her very first ever performance which will be directed by Ugochukwu Victor Ugwu, starring Ejikeme Kosisochukwu, Aina Adeola, and Lorenzo Menakaya. Further details about the performance date, venue, and time, will be communicated in the coming month by The Maestro Theatre.
